I spent my time on the weekend learning all about Vedic meditation. At first, I was nervous, apprehensive that I, of all people, wouldn’t be able to have a successful experience. Not the ideal candidate considering I can never sit still for twenty minutes nor switch off to the billions of thoughts going through my mind. However I wanted, needed, to be open-minded to something that will potentially bring relaxation and clarity back into my life. Attending the weekend course has given me the tools to reconnect with my inner self, calm the mind and heal my body. I’m already feeling the benefits and am excited to see where my Vedic meditation journey takes me.
Thanks to my family and friends who inspired me to give it a go, especially my hubby and little warriors who have been my biggest supporters. Mothers’ Day was spent differently this year but investing in me, their mummy, will allow me to evolve into an even better mother and live a more meaningful life. My teacher, Kate, was so encouraging and patient as I started my Vedic meditation path. I’m forever thankful ~ Jasmine
