Wellness Advocate of The Year Finalist – The Women in Law Awards 2020

Reflecting back on 2020 it was a massive year. The South Coast was hit with bush fires, floods and covid. It was such a huge privilege to be called upon to be a part of peoples lives during these difficulties, and an even greater feeling to hear from students who had already learnt to meditate about the huge benefits they were feeling from engaging with their practice daily during the challenging year that was.

After what was an incredibly challenging year as a practitioner I was so beyond honoured to be named a Finalist as the Wellness Advocate of The Year at The Women In Law Awards for the second year in a row! The past 12 months have been incredibly demanding and they have taught me more and more about how to attend to the wellness needs of others, whilst also finding balance in my own life. As the demands and intensity increased and I was required to operate at higher and higher levels of myself, the love joy, fun, adventure, play, connection, self-care and receiving all needed to be dialled up a few notches to reach a happy, healthy place within myself. That’s really been key for me. And my twice daily meditation practice of course! Here’s cheers to all the amazing men and women doing incredible things within the wellness sector, and especially to all those beautiful souls I get to share my work with, you really do make my life so fulfilling!
