Just one night of less than 4 hours sleep drops the anti cancer fighting cells, by 70%. 

In the last 20 years we’ve not been able to find a single psychiatric condition in which sleep is normal. 

What is sleep doing for our health? Sleep provides opportunity to increase immune factors, and increases the sensitivity and receptivity of your body to these immune factors. You wake up the next morning as a more robust immune individual. You restock the weaponry in your immune arsenal. Importantly if you’ve been having lots of late nights in your lifetime, or working shift work, the mind and body never actually catchup on this lack of rest, we accumulate sleep and rest debt, and this prints out in us in disorder and disease, unless we are actively prioritising deep rest through additional things like meditation and retreats.
